Graphical Manipulations #70: Mad, Madder, Maddest!

Sometimes a graphical opportunity just presents itself, and try as you will, you just can’t help yourself in grasping at that opportunity.  It is with much thanks to the Sydney Morning Herald who presented us with the cover picture graphic of Cory Bernardi’s much discussed book of idiocy.  Before you get indignant! NO. I haven’t read it, nor will I.  Experiences of his behaviour via the media had already convinced me that Cory is seriously right-wing extremist weird and I try not to read such paranoid, narrow-minded bigoted wierdness! “Mein Kampf” was a sufficient dose of such madness to convince that such authors are a clear demonstration that God does not exist and that such people are on par with parasites and bacterial and viral epidemics – extremely dangerous to the well-being of humanity!!

So given the graphic the manipulations began with;

Cory Jerk

That led to thoughts of conservatism and dogmatic fanatics and;

Cory Fanaticism

Naturally Cory’s views of the initiative causes of bestiality where considered of import with;

Cory Bestiality

But all of these seems somewhat low key and not quite weird enough, then this came to mind;

Cory Green Men

All of these were somewhat unsatisfactory, and given Cory’s obviously vaulting ego we finally settled on;

Cory Kink

Then, as if it couldn’t get any sillier, along came the measured intellect of one Maurice Newman who blindly went where many other climate change deniers had gone before basing his erudite utterance on gut instinct (and, I suspect, energy shareholdings) rather than scientific evidence.  And that lead to;

Climate Madness

For some reason that led to promises and flowerpots.  I have no idea why but suspect it was the graphic and that led to flowerpot men and ‘hello little weed’ utterances.  These are usually stupid and totally meaningless entirely suited to;

Promises Promises

And thinking of Mr Eleventy and sidekick Corman, led to thinking of the other illuminati (of the 2 watt kind) in the NO Coalition government and that resulted in;

God Help Us

The Rat, still rolling about laughing at the latest NO Coalition OPERATION SOVEREIGN STUPIDITY disaster, collected himself long enough to throw in a quick quip with;

Little lost navy rat

And thoughts of OPERATION SOVEREIGN STUPIDITY leading to even stupider and stupider behaviour led to thoughts of idiots and how one might become one (idiot, that is);

Pick The Idiot

And finally that led to broader thoughts of how well the NO Coalition has done in trashing our reputation in a fair amount of south-east Asia and the endless possibilities before them to completely destroy Australia’s reputation over the next three years.  And those thoughts lead, finally, to;

Ship of State

By the way, given the accuracy of GPS systems, especially in the military, please don’t try to tell me that these navy vessels either; lost their way, inadvertently strayed into Indonesian waters, drifted into Indonesian waters, or didn’t know exactly where they were.  You are trying to bullshit me and, at the same time, suggest that our Naval officers and men are a bunch of incompetents who don’t know where there ships are, don’t understand the forces of the wind and the ocean, and can’t read compasses or GPS systems and maps.  You may be trying to insult my intelligence, but at the same time you are insulting the skills and expertise of those who go in harms way to protect our nation!  Three word slogan: SHAME ON YOU!!

Afterthought:  This NO Coalition Government is trashing the good standing of Australia.  It cares little about its people in its fanatical pursuit of ultra-conservative ideology.  It is using the weapons of minority xenophobia, the secret fears and uncertainty of the general public and blatant propaganda, aided by a complaisant media, to turn this country into something is has never been – bigoted, racist, xenophobic, selfish, self-indulgent, self-obsessed, uncaring and a disgrace to all those things that have made Australia a great country! Tolerance, mateship, community, fairness, honesty and a love of freedom in both speech and expression!

Postscript:  All characters appearing in this work are entirely, and amazingly, fictitious.  Any resemblance to real persons, living, dead or in a zombie like state, is purely coincidental with an exceptionally high probability of being the construct of a deluded mind trying to grasp the true meaning of the political unreality of Australian politics, al la NO Coalition!  We can only gaze upon such greatness with wonderment!

  1. ‘Almost as good as the Magic Pudding, eh’ Exactly! Except this one’s called the Tragic Pudding!

  2. ‘It was the schooner ‘Abbottus’ that sailed the summery sea,
    And the skipper had taken his little stooge Bernardi
    To bear him company.’
    The skipper he stood beside the helm,
    His foot was in his mouth.
    And he knew not where his arse was located
    Neither North nor South…
    (with apologies the H.W. Longfellow, – The Wreck of the Hesperus)

      You requests have been posted and should reach you shortly. As they are entirely vacuous documents authored by lightweights there will be no postage payable. As for additional delivery costs — you’re entirely welcome to them!!

    Very well done, deknarf. Of course our current government, made up of bumbling mendacious fools, do make it all too easy for satirists to mock.

    • deknarf says:

      And, ‘doncha just luv it!!’ ;-]]

      • joy cooper says:

        Yep, grist to the mill with these turkeys. If we had a halfway decent government your very fertile imagination would have nothing to. :-D

        • deknarf says:

          Ooooh! I dunno. Still pretty angsty about Labor actually being idiots enough to lose the last election to the current bunch of nincompoops!

          And, have we ever had any non-gaffe prone politicians?

          :-))

          • joy cooper says:

            Albo & Tanya are pretty much gaffe-free. Murdoch, Rinehart & Palmer are available but don’t think they will be needed as this lousy government is “the gift that keeps on giving”..

            Almost as good as the Magic Pudding, eh?
