Graphical Manipulations #36: Futility, Earners, Cows, Elevenses, Enumerations And That Bloody Rat!

Browsing through the media, not of our fair shores, done mainly to get away from the perpetual bias, hyperbole and parochialism of my countries mainstream media is undertaken to find out what is happening in the rest of the world.  Surprisingly, there is a ROTW out there rumbling along, uncaring and unaware that Australia really exists!  Exceptions are made for our summer conflagrations and when such luminaries as whatser name comes a visiting.  Oh! You know!  The African-American (am I allowed to say that?) TV personality.  Anyhow, while abrowsing, this photo caught my eye, and after the disgust at seeing a child dressed militarily, and carrying an assault rifle (albeit a toy) my thoughts turned to the futility of all this religiously based genocidal hatred and this came to mind;

Says it all really!

Not wishing to dwell further in the realm of such dank and depressing thoughts the mind turned to Gina Rinehart’s recent tragic loss of seven or eight BILLION dollars.  Leaving the poor lass with only about 22 BILLION dollars in the slush fund.  ‘Tragic’, I thought, especially now that the Oz dollar was only worth 96.5 US cents, instead of its recently rampant parity plus some!  But then I considered what a nice little earner Gina had and the concern faded away;

And that brought me by way of her relationship with my favourite politician and my continuing failure to grasp that those generous donators to Gina’s billions might be about to do something extremely silly.  And that thought brought about this;

Naturally thinking of the NO Coalition and its recent attempt to sound like a real alternative to Labor in the September election, and it’s somewhat contradictory advisory that the Public Service would/wouldn’t be cut by some 22,000 led to;

And confusing clarifications from the slim line, lap banded Joe Hockey and his obvious dexterity with inordinately large numbers pointed, naturally, to things mathematical;

And Phoney Tony Abbott, and the view that Rupert Murdoch’s guiding hand over the fate of this country was assisting the leader of the opposition in his tilt at the politicians greatest goal brought forth this;

And then the bloody rat came back;

 

And so there we have it!  Leaving you with the usual postscript . . . . . . !
